IS this the Samsung SGH-T699?

A picture of a T-Mobile branded Samsung smartphone has been obtained by TmoNews and speculation is that the device is the SGH-T699 that we wrote about last month. Back then, the hope was that the model was a T-Mobile variant of the Samsung GALAXY Nexus. But as you can see from the picture, it is apparently a handset sporting a side-sliding physical QWERTY keyboard. The device is said to be equipped with a 5MP rear-facing camera, a front-facing camera and an LED notification light. Thanks to a User Agent Profile found last month, we also know that inside that body lies the beating heart of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 or S4 processor, and the resolution of the display is 720 x 1280. While we can't really get a feel for how high each key on the QWERTY lies, we can say that the 5-row offset keyboard looks like it might be quite serviceable. The source for TmoNews says that the device runs smoothly with no lags or slowdowns. For those who are addicted to a physical QWERTY to type on, this could be a very interesting model even if the 5MP camera indicates a more low to mid range device.
